Dr. Hamblin is the veterinarian at Black Creek Animal Clinic. She is a lifelong resident of Oswego County. She graduated from APW high School. She then attended SUNY Cobleskill where she received an associate’s degree in Animal Science. She received her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, and then went to Kansas State university College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. After veterinary school Dr. Hamblin returned to central NY and practiced with 2 veterinary practices before joining Black Creek in 2013. Dr. Hamblin enjoys small animal medicine and surgery. She enjoys practicing family medicine for pets and want to know not just your pet but your family and you. In her time away from the clinic Dr. Hamblin enjoys spending time with her children, husband and family doing outdoor activities like kayaking, swimming and hiking. Dr. Hamblin is a runner and enjoys running half marathons. Dr. Hamblin has 3 dogs: Oliver, Lucy and Desi
Dr. Baker is the newest veterinarian at Black Creek Veterinary Clinic, joining us in April 2021. She is a lifelong resident of upstate NY and has worked in Oswego County since June of 2000. She earned her DVM from Cornell in 1999. When she is not helping pets live long and happy lives, she enjoys travelling and spending time outside. Go Bills!
Samantha is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Practice Manager here at Black Creek Veterinary Clinic. She graduated from Suny Oswego in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. Then graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2009 with a Veterinary Technician Degree and received her License in 2010. She loves spending time with her husband and 2 little girls, reading, camping, and being outdoors. She also has 2 dogs, 2 cats and chickens.
Taryn is an Office Manager/Receptionist She started with Black Creek Animal Clinic in 1997, returned in 2003. She has 1 dog, Finn and 2 cats Cheeto and Niles. She enjoys baking, going to the ocean. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
Mary is the Clinic Coordinator and has worked at Black Creek Animal Clinic since 1990. She has 1 dog named Lotti and enjoys the outdoors and nature photography.
Jill is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She graduated from St. Petersburg college and received her LVT in 2021.. She loves spending time with her husband and son. She has 2 dogs (Miles and Olive) and 3 cats (Homie, Dottie and Pickle). Jill enjoys time with family and friends camping, riding ATV’s and just enjoying the great outdoors.
Chris is our clinic janitor. He has been with Black Creek since 1990. Chris lives in Oswego with his family and has a little dog Buttercup Autumn.
Kerri is a licensed veterinary technician. She graduated from SUNY Canton in 2004 with her AAS in veterinary technology. When not working, she is often reading or doing crafts with her children.
Carly is an assistant and has been with us since July 2022. She went to technician school at USF in Florida from 2006-2008. In the Spring she will be attending St. Petersburg college to become licensed here in NYS. She spends her free time with her son and dog Apollo and enjoys spending time in her garden and watching sports.
